Altamonte Chapel

Altamonte Chapel
Original Watercolor on Paper
8.5×10” matted to 14×18”
Altamonte Chapel has a fascinating history. Built in 1885 and abandoned after a winter freeze destroyed its congregants’ orange groves, it was later exchanged for tuition to Rollins College, then dismantled and moved (by horse and wagon!) to its current location. These days the chapel hosts Sunday services and many weddings. The architecture is beautiful, the surrounding trees and fountain are picturesque, but it’s the community and people who make it feel like home.
Each original watercolor painting is designed and crafted as a lasting heirloom. I use only the highest quality professional pigments and acid-free watercolor paper. Signed discretely on the front, dated on the back. Matted to a standard size for the collector’s ease in framing.
